Sentí deseos de volver al aula de clases, recordando una de las estrategias utilizadas para la enseñanza de la lectura por excelencia. Se trata de la narración de un cuento ilustrado para para niños de primaria. Se elaboraron imágenes tipo collage, como el recurso utilizado, para lograr la competencia requerida, que sería la promoción , el amor y el interés por la lectura, y la obtención de un aprendizaje significativo, acerca de las abejas.

I felt like going back to the classroom, remembering one of the strategies used for teaching reading par excellence. It is the narration of an illustrated story for elementary school children.
Collage-like images were elaborated as the resource used to achieve the required competence, which would be the promotion, love and interest in reading, and the attainment of meaningful learning about bees.
En el parque El Retiro, a las afueras de la ciudad, había un hermoso jardín sembrado de flores amarillas y blancas que adornaban el ambiente con su belleza. Mariposas multicolores revoloteaban sobre los ramilletes floridos a cada instante, jugando con los insectos que pasaban de vez en cuando, para disfrutar de las bondades del lugar.
Muy cerca, había una colmena de abejas melíferas, es decir, aquellas que elaboran miel. Estas aprovechan la época de primavera, para absorber el jugo de las flores. Su función dentro de la colmena es alimentar a las larvas, además de polinizar, que significa trasladar el polen de flor en flor, lograr que se reproduzcan otras plantas, y producir los alimentos que nosotros los seres humanos consumimos.
"Rayitas la Abejita Glotona"
Ahora niños, les contaré acerca de una abejita muy glotona que vivía en una colmena que está cerca del parque El Retiro. Rayitas, es su nombre, su colita, tenía líneas tan anchas, que la hacían diferente a las demás. No solo por eso era diferente, sino que nuestra linda y gordita Rayitas, era muy tremenda. Nunca se quedaba quieta. Así como algunos de ustedes, cuando estamos en círculo y se distraen mirando a la mosquita que pasa por la ventana. Veamos qué fue lo que ocurrió a Rayitas.
Una tarde, cuando todas las abejitas terminaron su faena, Rayitas pidió permiso para salir al jardín. Obtuvo su permiso y salió volando hacia otro lugar que había descubierto una de esas tardes en que trabajaba. Porque ella era una excelente obrera y muy trabajadora.
Llegó a un rosedal muy bonito, donde también había muchas y variadas flores. Su intención no era otra que libar y libar el néctar de cuanta flor cupiera en su barriguita. Cosa muy, pero muy peligrosa, porque no debemos comer por gula. Todo eso es dañino para nuestro organismo. Pues bien, Rayitas bebió tanto néctar, que se desmayó por la cantidad de dulce que tomó. Recordemos que el azúcar no se debe consumir tampoco en exceso.
"Rayitas the Gluttonous Little Bee"
Now children, I will tell you about a very greedy little bee that lived in a beehive near El Retiro Park. Rayitas, that's her name, her little tail, had such wide lines that made her different from the others. Not only for that reason she was different, but our cute and chubby Rayitas, was very tremendous. She never sat still. Just like some of you, when we are in a circle and you get distracted looking at the little fly by the window. Let's see what happened to Rayitas.
One afternoon, when all the little bees had finished their chores, Rayitas asked permission to go out into the garden. She got her permission and flew off to another place she had discovered one of those afternoons when she was working. For she was an excellent worker and a hard worker.
She came to a very pretty rose garden, where there were also many and varied flowers. Her intention was none other than to drink the nectar of as many flowers as she could fit in her tummy. A very, very dangerous thing to do, because we should not eat for gluttony. All that is harmful to our organism. Well, Rayitas drank so much nectar that he fainted from the amount of sweetness he drank. Let's remember that sugar should not be consumed in excess.
Mientras Rayito se va despertando, escucha un gran alboroto entre los insectos que la acompañaban. Un par de moscas zumbaban sin parar, las mariquitas rojas, echaron a volar, una mariposa azul, alertó a todos y huyeron de prisa. Ella, no sabía que se acercaba la sombra terrorífica, de un gran Cuervo come insectos. Ni siquiera conocía de su existencia. Asustada, no podía alzar vuelo, porque estaba demasiado llena y pesada. Una mariposa grande y amarilla logró sacarla de las garras del cuervo, que ya se preparaba para picotear.
As Rayito was waking up, she heard a great commotion among the insects that accompanied her. A couple of flies buzzed nonstop, the red ladybugs took flight, a blue butterfly alerted everyone and they fled in a hurry. She did not know that the terrifying shadow of a large insect-eating Raven was approaching. She did not even know of its existence. Frightened, she could not take flight, because she was too full and too heavy. A large yellow butterfly managed to pull her out of the raven's clutches, which was already preparing to peck at her.
El camino de regreso a la colmena para Rayitos no fue nada fácil, porque debía prepararse para el gran regaño, por desviarse del camino y abusar de la confianza que se le dio al permitirle salir sola. No hubo excusas. Rayitos, fue ingresada al hospital de la colmena por indigestión. Estuvo enferma y casi pierde la vida. Sus compañeras hicieron el trabajo por ella. Rayitos se mejoró y aprendió su buena lección. Recibió su regaño, le colocaron tratamiento para curarse, y en agradecimiento, pidió perdón a sus amigas obreras y dio las gracias a la mariposa amarilla por haberle salvado la vida.
Saben niños, que las abejas no detienen su labor. Si lo hacen, se pone en gran riesgo la vida de ellas y de la humanidad. Sin las abejas no habría polinización, no crecerían nuevos brotes de plantas, ellas no solamente producen la miel que nos alimenta, sino que son las primeras productoras de otros productos como la jalea real, la cera y el propóleo. Debemos preservar su vida, evitar el uso de plaguicidas, la deforestación y el uso de fertilizantes tóxicos.
Como ya conocen la historia de "Rayitos, la Abejita Glotona", me gustaría que al llegar a casa, luego de cumplir con sus deberes y aseo, tomen una hoja de papel, dibujen a Rayitos, y coloquen su imagen en la pared. Para que siempre recuerden que las abejitas son seres útiles y deben ser amados y protegidos.
The way back to the hive for Rayitos was not at all easy, because she had to prepare herself for the big scolding, for straying from the path and abusing the trust given to her by being allowed to go out alone. There were no excuses. Rayitos, was admitted to the hive hospital for indigestion. She was sick and almost lost her life. Her companions did the work for her. Rayitos got better and learned her good lesson. She received her scolding, was treated, and in gratitude, she apologized to her worker friends and thanked the yellow butterfly for saving her life.
You know, children, that bees do not stop their work. If they do, their lives and the lives of mankind are at great risk. Without bees there would be no pollination, no new shoots of plants would grow, they not only produce the honey that feeds us, but they are the first producers of other products such as royal jelly, wax and propolis. We must preserve their life, avoid the use of pesticides, deforestation and the use of toxic fertilizers.
As you already know the story of "Rayitos, the greedy little bee", I would like that when you get home, after doing your homework and cleaning up, take a piece of paper, draw Rayitos, and put his picture on the wall. So that they always remember that little bees are useful beings and should be loved and protected.
