One of the comments expressed on a post by Hive account@spknetwork is "i thought it was supposed to be 8am GMT 6th jan. jesus christ i thought it already happened." That statement by Hive account@jphamer1 is no doubt a reflection of what many Hivers will express after seeing that post because lot of people have already traded their Hive with the mindset that the snapshot have been concluded.

The impact I feel contributed to the Hive price drop although the entire Crypto Space is bleeding due to Bitcoin and Kazakhstan outages, coupled with other market factors.

Anyway I chose to create a countdown timer on elfsight to showcase the timing.

There's a 100% chance that by the time the countdown zero in, the snapshot have been concluded since 30minutes. That is if the timer ⏲️ displays as desired.

While a lot of people may miss the snapshot, the team really need to up their game on publicity so that such or other future information will not be missed.
