I woke up on the beach!
It was a great day, we had been talking about going down to the beach but first we needed to find weed. Going to the beach without a crum to smoke just wouldnt have been right so we went on a walk around the village to find someone because even here it has had problems to find some smoke (proof that the end is neigh!)
We were told where a few people were so we walked around in a loop but all the people were gone already. I was asking my mate if he knew a guy that i was describing because I knew that that man would have some we could buy. I was saying that we were near his home but my mate didnt know who I mean and i had forgotten exactly which house was his.
Just 1 or 2 minutes later, he passed us on the quiet street and I went back to find him. We were right by his house so it was perfect to go get some weed (and for me to practice my spanish!
The price seems to have gone up to 3euros now but I still hope to find some for 2euro like it used to be, I know its possible so I'll manasfest it 😉
I went to the chinease bazar, which is a shop where you buy anything and everything from, but was refused to go in without a mask.
This is me outside the shop waiting to ask the next person if they could buy something for me 😝
After a morrocan man helped me out I ran back to the bar where we were all meeting to drive back together.
To eat some chocolate in south spain at 2pm, you need a tea spoon!
We went home and got ready to leave the valley and drive down to the south coast of spain to a place where diesel nomads park up and live at.
Its not really a well known beach unless you are in the travelling circuit. Its owned by a guy who likes us parking up here so we are not harrassed by the police telling us we cant park on the beach which makes it the only beach we can use peacefully.
On the way we had to stop for drinking water and as we did I spotted pallets to go back and get whilst the others filled up the water containers
Pallets = Fire wood!
Turns out there was also two matresses and they ended up comming with us. 4 pallets and two single matrasses. Winner.
Back on the road I tried to capture some photos of the epic rock faces that is en route from us to the beach
Maybe I should make a video on the way back because photos are no comparason!
The beach is known as Black Sand beach, its in a place called Salobreña, you should pop by if you pass, especially if you want to meet some freeks or find a ride to somewhere.
Its a very steep drive down to the beach and we had to wait for cars to attempt to get up the dry dusty slope..
...It took a while for 3 cars to make it up the first part..
This VW van that I zoomed in on was really struggling
It was quite full when we arrived, and just before we got down to sea level I said to my mate "I bet theres atleast one person I know here that I didnt see some years"and as we parked up and opened the door, I saw a face covered in tattoos in the truck next to us..
I love his knew design on his truck
I cant get a clear view but it says covid- 19 + 2020 +
It was my old neighbour from Norway!
So cool to see him, theres only the cabin I occupy and a compound in a forest that he occupys in Oslo that are official occupied places. We were neighbours for 6months when I used the empty workshop next to the place in the forest 3 years back.
He was the bringer of some sad news when I wondered where his girlfriend was. She has ended up in therapy because over a year ago, 2 of her friends hung themselves in the forest with no note both together at the same time, and then there was also a copycat suicide not long after. One of the women I had met several times when she lived in her bus next to the forest, and its really dam shocking to wonder why she would have hung herself.
So his girlfriend really took it hard as they had grown up together, and now he is just out of Norway until she gets better and feels ok again.
He had some good news though aswell, a young norwegen guy who I know from the punk scene in Oslo is here too! He came for a 2 week holiday and got stuck for 4months in the village where we stay! They are both here since 4 months actually.
We had the idea to make pizzas the same evening as we decided to go to the beach so it only made sense to make pizzas at the beach! We took the gas oven with us and it turned out also that the more perminent dwellers here were also making pizzas in the pizza oven.
Pizza Night!
I will say that within a couple of hours tops I was already drunk enough to forget about taking any photos 🤣
I walked around this morning to take some pictures. Here is the Pizza Oven which worked really well last night
This small building near the pizza oven was full of crap the lasttime I was here but since people got stuck here on quarantine the place has been cleaned up.
