Food Garden update
Things are growing fast with the warm climate and lately some rain fall, depending on the moon phase you can literally see a difference from morning to evening on some plants.
Around three weeks ago I planted these bulb onions, and some days later I transplanted out the Radishes along the edge of the same bed with the Onions. They are all white and red onions mixed, around half and half of each.
I noticed yesterday a big difference in the size of some of the radish plants (in the photo above you see the nearest half are very visable but at the back they are tiny because its in shade) - I might have to move some of them as they are not receiving enough sunlight 😔
...apart from that the onions are looking good, considering they dont have flat leaves, I can't imagine them noticing much difference between half shade and full sun, but I'm not an expert that is just a guess.
Spearmint
I took some spearmint plants from the Sunny Garden. They are so easy to transplant because they grow roots from any stem that is in contact with the ground, thats why you can grow some in a small place one year and the next year it's a bush, trailing off and popping up in other places.
I took five pieces I think it was went over to the garden where we will be planting other things, and where the Chinese Cabbage got munched to shit by baby slugs. I thought about preparing this place beforehand and adding some spearmint to deter insects.

Feeding with Organic Fertiliser
I have been spraying Compost Tea every other day on the leaves of the plant feed them. Its known as Foliar feeding, and the plant soaks up the nutrients almost instantly so its the best way to get nutrients into a plant quickly. If you dont have alot of nutrients in the soil, its the best way to feed a plant.

I realised just an hour ago that we have mixed up the Cauliflowers with the Brokolis! they didnt get labelled and now Im sure they are all mixed up and look quite simular 😂
