In Octobre 2020 we went on a 2 week hiking trip in Italy. Even though the mountains were cold and mostly covered in snow we were really happy with the trail and the views. I went through my pictures the other day and I decided this was my favourite shot. Seemed like a good idea to write a short post about the trip.
First, we went on a 4 day hiking trip in the dolomits, were we spend 2 days on the Alta Via 1 before returning (creating a loop) to the starting point.
After spending a night in a hotel we decided to drive to Grand Paradiso for the next part of our trip. The reason we did not stay longer in the dolomites was because bad weather was coming, and in Grand Paradiso the forecast looked a lot better.
In Gran Paradiso we did 1 day hike and after that we did a 3 day loop.
