I've just found out from my hiveian friend that blue orchids aren't actually blue. The funny thing is that in this precise moment I have received the real life confirmation of this fact 😭😂
A blue orchid I have received is blossoming again... White! Hahahaha is it a miracle, an oddity of the plant world or just plain sorcery? Did the sun bleach my plant?😂 Oh no, it is the seller's trick bamboozling all blue orchids lovers. I've just got bamboozled🤣🤣
This is how the orchid looked initially
This is how it looks after I have repotted it and made some cuttings of the old stems. It definetely has more flowers now
I do wonder if blue orchids truly exist in nature. I fell in love with these flowers as they are pretty low maintenance and I bought a pink one.
Should I expect white flowers from this too in a month or two? 😂🤔It looks genuinely pink though. Oh what is real and what is counterfeit, in the flower world it is hard to tell😳
I adore plants. I have a big collection, as big as it can fit in my workplace. I have received a reminder with what I was doing a year ago.... #succulents
I have found these babies on sale. I immediately grabbed them with a vicious smile like I conquered the Everest of Succulents. 2 cacti died because I over watered them #plantkiller. Many are alive and they look so pretty. I will definetely make a post about all of my succulents. At least the sellers can't dye a cactus pink and pretend it is going to stay this way, I wonder why they do it with the orchids.
I also wonder how big can orchids grow? Maybe , our orchid guru, can shed some light in this matter. I know that orchids usually grow on trees and that they take everything through air and through their roots. I am always curious by nature, overly curious maybe, and I like to find new informations about my plants.
If I would live in a big house, it would probably be like a greenhouse, like a big jungle filled with greenery❤️ I would wake up from my bed and inhale the fresh oxygen and beautiful smell of plants.
Have a blessed day and toodle loo!
