Hola amigos de la comunidad de bellas artes, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una serie fotográfica que realice hace algún tiempo y tenia guarda. “Desde arriba” es una serie fotográfica que muestra a Caracas como pocas veces la vemos, normalmente estamos inmersos en ella, somos parte de su inmensidad y no percibimos con claridad su dimensión, nos cobija su grandeza, casi siempre vemos hacia arriba y conseguimos un montón de líneas que se disparan hacia el cielo, esta vez, podemos ver “desde arriba” todo lo que la compone.
Hello friends of the fine arts community, today I want to share with you a photographic series that I made some time ago and had saved. “From Above” is a photographic series that shows Caracas as we rarely see it. Normally, we are immersed in it, we are part of its immensity, and we do not clearly perceive its dimensions. We are sheltered by its grandeur, and we almost always look up and see a multitude of lines shooting toward the sky. This time, we can see everything that composes it “from above.”
Es interesante vernos desde otro punto de vista, el ritmo reina hacia donde quiera que dirijas tu mirada, allá abajo todo tiene un orden dentro del caos, cosas están pasando en todos lados y al mismo tiempo.
It's interesting to see ourselves from another point of view. Rhythm reigns wherever you look. Down there, everything has an order within the chaos. Things are happening everywhere at the same time.
Es cuando nos damos cuenta de que la grandeza es relativa, desde aquí nada de lo que me asusta parece tan grande, un respiro es suficiente para saber que existo aquí arriba y allá abajo.
Basta observar con detenimiento para hallar las complejidades que nos conforman. Desde acá puedo mirar. Necesitamos salir, para poder ver sin juicios de valor que nublen la verdad, encontrar la llave no es tan complicado si nos permitimos ir más allá.
It is when we realize that greatness is relative, from here nothing that scares me seems so big, a breath is enough to know that I exist up here and down there.
All we need to do is look closely to find the complexities that make us who we are. From here, I can see. We need to get out, to be able to see without value judgments clouding the truth. Finding the key is not so complicated if we allow ourselves to go beyond.
