¿Qué tal comunidad de Hive?, espero que todos estemos muy bien, hoy les vengo a hablar un poco de la primera intervención que tengo en este proyecto.
Nuestra primera visita al espacio fue crucial para sentar las bases de la propuesta curatorial. Realizamos un levantamiento de medidas exhaustivo de toda la sala, entendiendo a fondo el entorno para asegurar una disposición de obras coherente y funcional.
La sala presenta dimensiones específicas que determinaron nuestra estrategia de montaje, detalles que hablaremos a continuación.
Identificamos un área que funciona como un nicho. En este punto, se decidió que las obras serán colgadas desde el techo para asegurar una alineación perfecta con la pared contigua, donde el resto de las piezas estarán dispuestas de forma tradicional.
Buscando de aprovechar los elementos existente, realizamos un hallazgo importante, que fue la presencia de tres pantallas colgantes blancas ya instaladas las cuales decidimos integrarlas a la propuesta del diseño.
Aprovecharemos la ubicación de estas pantallas para proponer la instalación de los monitores que proyectarán contenido hacia el pasillo.
Tomando en cuenta que el espacio donde se va a exponer se visibiliza desde el Acceso del pasillo, permitiendo que la exposición se aprecie parcialmente apenas se accede al espacio, creando una vista inicial intercalada que sigue el ritmo de las pantallas existentes.
También notamos que el sistema de anclaje de las pantallas blancas está cerca de un punto eléctrico en el techo. Esto facilita la distribución de electricidad hacia los monitores, siendo una opción viable junto con la alimentación por piso.
La iluminación fue un punto vital a considerar por lo cual, es totalmente factible aprovechar y continuar con los rieles de iluminación existentes. Esto nos permitirá colocar puntos de luz específicos sobre cada obra.
Por otro lado, la luz natural se genera desde un patio interno que provee una gran cantidad de iluminación. Para proteger las impresiones de los artistas de trayectoria (evitando la incidencia directa del sol), proponemos ubicar en esta área elementos de la exhibición que funcionen como tamizadores de luz.
El recorrido nos permitió, además, definir el flujo de la experiencia. La visita fue fundamental para entender el orden y la disposición de las diferentes propuestas a lo largo del recorrido expositivo, tanto en la parte interna como en el área externa (donde estará el mapa, la pantalla cerca del jardín, etc.).
También pudimos observar una taquilla interna que será cubierta de manera estética y segura con alfombra, integrándola discretamente al diseño de la sala.
Como pueden leer y observar, esto fue todo el proceso de investigación dentro del espacio antes de comenzar con la propuesta del diseño. Vale destacar que todo esto se realizó en 2 días. Sin más nada que decir muchas gracias por acompañarme en este post.

Hello, Hive community! I hope you are all doing well. Today, I'm here to talk a little bit about my first intervention in this project.Our first visit to the space was crucial in laying the foundations for the curatorial proposal.
We carried out an exhaustive survey of the entire room, gaining a thorough understanding of the environment to ensure a coherent and functional layout of the works.
The room has specific dimensions that determined our installation strategy, details of which we will discuss below.
We identified an area that functions as a niche. At this point, it was decided that the works would be hung from the ceiling to ensure perfect alignment with the adjacent wall, where the rest of the pieces would be arranged in a traditional manner.
Seeking to take advantage of existing elements, we made an important discovery: three white hanging screens that were already installed, which we decided to integrate into the design proposal.
We will take advantage of the location of these screens to propose the installation of monitors that will project content into the hallway.
Taking into account that the space where the exhibition will be displayed is visible from the hallway entrance, allowing the exhibition to be partially seen as soon as the space is accessed, creating an initial intercalated view that follows the rhythm of the existing screens.
We also note that the anchoring system for the white screens is close to an electrical outlet in the ceiling. This facilitates the distribution of electricity to the monitors, making it a viable option along with floor power.
Lighting was a vital point to consider, so it is entirely feasible to take advantage of and continue with the existing lighting rails. This will allow us to place specific light points on each work.
On the other hand, natural light is generated from an internal courtyard that provides a large amount of illumination.
To protect the prints of established artists (avoiding direct sunlight), we propose placing elements of the exhibition in this area that function as light filters.
The tour also allowed us to define the flow of the experience. The visit was essential for understanding the order and layout of the different proposals throughout the exhibition, both inside and outside (where the map will be, the screen near the garden, etc.).
We also saw an internal ticket office that will be covered with carpet in an aesthetic and secure manner, discreetly integrating it into the design of the room.
As you can read and observe, this was the entire research process within the space before beginning the design proposal. It is worth noting that all of this was done in two days. Without further ado, thank you very much for joining me in this post.
