Hola HIVE espero que todos se encuentren muy bien disfrutando del arte y las buenas vibras.
Since I started studying fine arts, I've been constantly seeking adventures that will bring me closer to the art currently being created in Venezuela, so I'm constantly visiting galleries and museums to expand my knowledge. This week, I took the opportunity to visit the Jacobo Borges Museum located in Parque del Oeste in Caracas, Venezuela, to see an exhibition featuring a professor I know who taught me last semester.
Desde que estudio artes plásticas, todo el tiempo estoy en la búsqueda de aventuras que me acerquen a tener contacto con el arte que actualmente se está creando dentro de Venezuela, por lo que constantemente estoy visitando algunas Galerías y museos para ir nutriendo mi conocimiento. Esta semana aproveche para visitar el Museo Jacobo Borges ubicado en el Parque del Oeste en la ciudad de Caracas, Venezuela, para apreciar una muestra en donde participa una profesora que conozco y me dio clases el pasado semestre.
Upon arriving at the museum, I found a lobby brimming with creative spirit. I'd visited this museum before, but this was the first time I'd seen so many artistic expressions on display. I wandered around the ground floor, and right there, I came across the exhibition the professor was participating in.
Al llegar, en el museo me encuentro un vestíbulo donde abundaba la esencia creativa, ya en anteriores ocasiones, yo había visitado este museo, pero es la primera vez que lo veía con tantas expresiones artísticas expuestas; me recorrí la planta baja, justo en esa zona me encontré con la muestra en donde la profesora estaba participando.
A fascinating compilation of artistic expressions in different presentations made by a group of artists graduated from the University of Arts, come together in this great art exhibition entitled "After the Degree" (making an allegory that the authors are graduates of the University of Arts and this is part of their trajectory in their artistic disciplines) that shows us part of the process of the search for identity that a practitioner of the visual arts goes through after completing the academic cycle.
Una fascinante recopilación de expresiones artísticas en diferentes presentaciones realizada por un grupo de artistas egresados de la universidad de artes, se unen en esta gran muestra de arte titulada "Después del Grado" (haciendo alegoría de que los autores son egresados de la universidad de artes y esta es parte de su trayectoria en sus diciplinas artísticas) que nos muestra parte del proceso de la búsqueda de identidad que transita un practicante de las artes plásticas luego de cerrar el ciclo académico.
What I like most about this museum is that it allows art students and young, unknown artists to exhibit in its galleries without the exclusivity that is found in other national museums. I recently held my first group exhibition here, and I'm very happy to have done so. This is also the case for an emerging artist from Caracas, Daniela Alfonsina, who presents "Multiple Room," a solo exhibition that transports us to a playful and colorful space within her imagination, allowing us, as viewers, to experience the essence of her creative being.
Lo que más me agrada de este museo es que les permite a los estudiantes de artes y a artistas jóvenes no conocidos, exponer en sus salas sin tanta exclusividad como es el caso de otros museos nacionales; yo realice hace poco mi primera exposición colectiva en este museo y estoy muy feliz de poder haberlo hecho. También es el caso de una artista emergente de la ciudad de Caracas, Daniela Alfonsina nos presenta "Habitación Múltiple" una exposición individual que nos transporta a un espacio lúdico y colorido dentro de su imaginario que nos permite como espectador experimentar la esencia de su ser creativo.
I continued walking around the museum and came across a section that made me very curious because of its title, "SECRETS OF THE VAULT, works from the NO Collection". A small collection of drawings, paintings, engravings, and other works that are best seen as part of a study process in search of a language or line of research. However, each exhibition has its own appeal that captures the viewer's attention, inviting them to see the entire "Non-Collection" that comprises these works and enjoy the pictorial possibilities that emerge. I truly love visiting museums and imbibing all the creative and transcendental essence that abounds within these temples. I hope you enjoy this post. Good vibes.
Seguí recorriendo los alrededores del museo y me tope con una sección que me causo mucha curiosidad por el título que la representaba, "SECRETOS DE BOVEDA, obras de la NO colección" una pequeña recopilación de dibujos, pinturas, grabados, entre otros registros que más se ven como parte de un proceso de estudio en busca de un lenguaje o una línea investigativa, pero cada muestra tiene su atractivo que capta la atención de espectador invitándolo a ver toda la "No colección" que integran esas obras y disfrutar de las posibilidades pictóricas que se manifiestan. De verdad que me encanta visitar los museos y nutrirme de toda esta esencia creativa y trascendental que abunda dentro de estos templos, espero que este post sea de su agrado, buenas vibras.
