“Have you ever lived down in the Ghetto?
Have you ever felt that cold wind blow?
If you don’t know what I mean
Won’t you just stand right up and scream
Cause there’s things goin’ on that you don’t know.”

I’m as privileged as it gets. White male, over 60 years old. It’d probably be much in my best interest to just STFU and go on with what is left of my life.
I can’t. Like another privileged white male (Popeye) “I took all I can take and I can’t take no more”.
Another black man killed by a white cop. ANOTHER ONE.
Which goes with another Native man killed by another white cop.
Which goes with another Native woman raped by another white cop.
Which goes with another Hispanic man killed by another white cop.
Which goes with another Hispanic woman raped by another white cop.
I’m not even going to ask when it ends BECAUSE IT NEVER FUCKING ENDS.
I’m so frustrated that I can barely type these words. It’s just plain time to speak up, to rise up and say “NO MORE”. Not even one more.
Say it. Shout it. Make your voice be heard. Do it again and again and again. NOW.
They work for us. They have forgotten that they work for us, but they do. Vote the bastards out. All of them. Elect people that say they will change the system with specific ideas. If they don’t do it, throw the bastards out and do it again.
No is not an answer. Obviously this is a problem that needs to be fixed. Not later than yesterday. There is no more time, there is no more waiting. NOW.
Looting and burning is not the answer and do not let any portion of this be taken to say otherwise. Looting and burning does NOT change or mitigate another unarmed black man dying at the hands of white cops. Not even a little teeny bit.
Thanks for reading this rant all the way to the end. If I offended you, too bad, so sad. Take your offense and put it to work.
