Muchas veces tenemos un talento nato, otras veces es construido a través del tiempo a base de esfuerzo y perseverancia propia. Las habilidades y talentos que tengo algunas han sido construidas hasta ahora desde cero, y otras que al parecer son naturales. Mi trayectoria en la música comenzó con una sugerencia de un ser muy especial que forma parte de mi cielo estrellado todas las noches. Ella me sugirió que empezara en este mundo, aunque inicialmente sería con otro instrumento. Me dijo que alguna vez querría verme en la orquesta nacional. Cosa que no le pude cumplir. Aunque de igual manera me dedique mucho a ello hasta el punto de practicar día, tarde y noche.
Many times we have a natural talent, other times it's built through time based on our own effort and perseverance. The skills and talents that I have, some have so far been built from scratch, and others that seem natural. My career in music began with a suggestion of a very special being who is part of my starry sky every night. She suggested that I start in this world, although initially it would be with another instrument. She told me that sometime he wanted to see me in the national orchestra. Which I could not fulfill. Although in the same way I dedicate myself a lot to it to the point of practicing day, afternoon and night.
Tengo una anécdota que me causa mucha gracia, y es que una vez ensayando con mis amigos no había nadie que tocara el bajo. En esa ocasión había un bajo a disposición, por lo que me propuse a tocarlo, y para ser mi primera vez lo hice bastante bien. Ese momento me hizo alusión a una escena en un capítulo de South Park donde Cartman le dice a Token que toque el bajo, a lo que Token se niega diciendo que no sabe, Cartman le responde “hasta cuando tengo que decírtelo; eres negro, tocas bajo”. Finalmente Token termina tocando muy bien el bajo.
I have an anecdote that causes me a lot of grace, and that is that once I was rehearsing with my friends there was no one who played bass. On that occasion there was a bass available, so I decided to play it, and for my first time I did it quite well. That moment alluded to me to a scene in a South Park chapter where Cartman tells Token to play the bass, to which Token refuses saying he doesn't know, Cartman replies "How many times I have to tell you; you're black, you can play bass”. Finally Token ends up playing the bass very well.
Mis habilidades en algunos deportes como el beisbol, futbol, pin pong y voleibol, que aunque no sea un experto en ellos, en lo poco que soy habilidoso en cada uno de ellos, lo disfruto mucho.
My abilities in some sports such as baseball, soccer, pin pong and volleyball, that although I'm not an expert in them, in the little skill that I'm in each of them, I enjoy it a lot.
Mi habilidad en la cocina, aunque no sea chef, he tenido buenas criticas a la hora de hacer algo de cocina tradicional, panadería o repostería. Aunque desde hace mucho tiempo me ha interesado esta área, desde hace poco es que lo vengo poniendo en práctica. Espero seguir mejorando con el tiempo.
My ability in the kitchen, even if I am not a chef, I have had good criticism when it comes to doing some traditional cooking, bakery or pastry. Although I have been interested in this area for a long time, recently I have been putting it into practice. I hope to keep improving over time.
Mi habilidad en la literatura diría que proviene de mi papá ya que le gusta mucho leer sobre filosofía y escribir. Es una habilidad que viéndolo en retrospectiva empecé a fortalecer en mi adolescencia. Desde escribir cuentos, historias hasta prosas y poesía. Puedo pasar horas en ello. Sin darme cuenta pierdo la noción del tiempo. Es algo que me proporciona una especie de escape en muchas ocasiones.
My ability in literature I would say comes from my dad since he likes to read about philosophy and write a lot. It's a skill that in retrospect I began to strengthen in my teens. From writing stories, stories to prose and poetry. I can spend hours on it. Without realizing it, I lose track of time. It is something that provides me with a kind of escape on many occasions.
Estoy agradecido por cada una de mis habilidades y talentos porque me han demostrado de lo que soy capaz y lo que puedo hacer.
I am grateful for each of my abilities and talents because they have shown me what I am capable of and what I can do.
