We're going into the second week of 2022! Have you started or maintained any new year resolutions going on so far? It would be easier if change wasn't something we sometimes automatically shy away from, but really the fear of change is definitely real for some. Sharing this article from Hive account@esmeesmith might help in guiding us on the first step to take so we don't get too overwhelmed with a new year that doesn't seem to be any different from these past couple of years, and yet brings out a resilience we don't notice we have.
Speaking of fear, it differs in perspective and I'd like to think the simplest of them would be when coming across and watching a genre of the horror kind like this netflix series as shared by Hive account@leynnerm29. From my years of watching korean shows, I've observed they've really come a long way from making the stereotypical asian dramas and managed to develop series with a short number of episodes which doesn't make the overall plot any less coherent and in fact mostly makes each episode thrilling. So judging from the trailer of Hellbound, we're in for one hell of a ride! ψ(Ф∀Ф)ψ
And as if the sense of dread from being dragged to hell isn't good enough of an excuse on the topic of fear, maybe a more interactive approach like gaming as shared by Hive account@hitmeasap might sound more of a challenge for the thrill-seekers. This is just your ordinary scavenge-to-survive sort of gameplay as zombies are added to the mix, so imagine aside from finding yourself with the barely favorable amount of supplies to survive, you also kinda need to stay out of the radar of your zombie neighbors. Ya know, just to stay alive and not reanimated. [¬º-°]¬
Forgetting all talks of fear and survival, it's time we settle in on the real doldrum of life that has us trapped in our personal spaces with the never-ending lockdowns and quarantine. Well if I'm gonna be spending my days either way in isolation, what better way than to be in a well-planned, cool looking place with the interior as shared from Hive account@tatjanapaunic. In retrospect, no matter how small the space of one's living space is, with proper planning and an innate talent for design, any small space can become a room looking fit for the privileged!ヾ(๑❛ ▿ ◠๑ )
Being in a nice, cozy space mostly goes with a peaceful view to complete the overall sense of everything being right in the world, and it shouldn't take much, and maybe a view of the clear blue sky is enough of a treat, moreso if you're blessed with a picturesque scene like this as shared by Hive account@yahia-lababidi. Personally see it as an uplifting scene with how we see the white underside of their wings spread out against a clear sky-- maybe a sense of hope that depicts how easy it would be if we could just fly away from the things that bind us to our everyday routine in life.
