There is a small Christmas tradition that when writing out Christmas cards I use Christmas carols to get in the spirit and fortify myself with lots of tea and mince pies. It started when Yve was alive and I don't have the heart to stop.
This year is not really an exception but I am running a bit late with quarantine and no ink in the printer for doing the envelopes but that's all sorted now that's how I spent the morning. I must say that** Spotify** has a much better selection of Christmas music than my CD collection which is limited to a couple of old "NOW that's what I call Christmas" box sets and a Christina Aguilera Christmas hits CD, Don't judge me she has got an amazing voice.
It has been a bit of a struggle this year coming back from the Philippines late and then being stuck around the house and garden for the last few weeks, still only one day to go.
Mind you I'm not convinced about going out Christmas shopping at the moment have had Christmas music and decorations in the shops since September in the Philippines you do get a bit hardened to it all and if anything rather sick of it.
