Every now and again you see something underwater that really makes you smile. It's usually something another diver does, drops something, misses the whale shark while taking an underwater selfie, or rolls off the dive boat without their fins, guilty but still made me smile I knew I'd done it as soon as I started to roll back but you cant defeat gravity.
Anyway, yesterday while out at Pescador diving on one of boat trips, it was this cheeky little chappy.
It's a Striped Fangblenny that normally lives in burrows or holes in the coral on the bottom this rather upwardly mobile fellow has made his home in a broken length of bamboo that about a meter long and stuck in the bottom.
If you didn't like the right side there is always the left.
They are quite shy so he kept popping up and down to see if the pesky big bubble blowing intruder had gone away. I took a little while to catch him in the photos as they really are quick.
That's all for today Hivers. Stay tuned for more diving interactions.
