I remember the days when bathing outside in the rain was so joyful.
I hated school resumption after the weekends and dreaded assembly inspection.
I remember the days when sharing a piece of biscuit meant "You're my friend" and refusal was always accompanied with "I will not play with you".
I remember the state of confusion I was when the pupil that came 2and position in class after a term's exam was in tears and yet the one that came last cared less.
I remember those days... Those we'd go visiting and when offered a gift we've always wanted, the look in our mothers eyes had the final say. To receive it or to decline.
I remember the days we run out of the house with joy so early in the morning, missing amongst street kids. Alas its dusk, how do I enter my own fathers house felt too heavy even for the worlds strongest man.
I remember the days when the only job I had on earth was Wake up, Eat, Play Eat and sleep. Wake up and repeat. How responsibility has taken me up.
I remember when childhood was fun.
