Greetings, everybody
As I mentioned in my previous post, I am trying to catch up with the Inktober52 challenge, so here I'm going to cheat a little bit to speed up my catching up. Prompt No13 was Joy and for me one joyful thing I actually have not done in a while (and I'm afraid some kids have never done in their lives) is to step barefoot on the grass. I have fond memories from my childhood of endless games running across grassy lots, enjoying every gift nature provides in those environments.
Thus, I wanted to combine in this drawing propmt 13 with prompts 14 to 17, which, as Jake Parker mentioned when he made the announcement, was a change in the Inktober mechanics: colors (green, red, blue, and yellow). I started drawing some feet from an internet image, but it was not coming out at all. So, I asked my daughter, who actually hates to step barefoot on grass or vegetation (she says animals poop on it), to pose her feet for me.

Process
As I mentioned many drawing posts ago, I have never been good at applying colors to drawings, let alone ink (I am doing this for the fun of it). I do not have the right tools or supplies either, so I did what I could with what I had. Firstly, I did the pencil drawing, as always.
I added some details
And then mixed some colors to get at least one element of each color from the prompts.

I know that many artists did not use colors at all; they just drew objects we usually associate with certain colors, so, let's say I went basic here.
Yellow flowers, lady bugs, and butterflies were very common in my hometown. Part of the joy of running around in the forests or pastures was precisely the interaction with these creatures. I hope you liked my rendition of these prompts.
