Greetings, everyone
I have been busy helping my daughters ( and
) take off with their #Hive accounts. They are very happy so far, but usually need me to help them with markdown details, images and videos. I have also been assisting some friends (
and
) who are just starting their #Hive journey. I wish them the best. Hope she gets the support of all of you. I am sure you'll find great content in their blogs.
I am back with the #Inktober52 challenge; as usual, combining more than one prompt in a single drawing. Thus, here I am combining Prompts 21 (Robot), 22 (Stranded), and 23 (Shell).
Process
I had initially thought of creating a shell-shaped robot stranded at sea or in a dessert island. I drew a couple of shells to see where I could go from there.
I was too lazy to erase the whole thing and I am running out of pages in my drawing block, so I just transformed one of the shells into some sort of mother ship that was sinking in the distance and added some details to the robot. It would definitely be abandoned in an island.
I added some smoke to the ship and some lines to get depth on the water.
Then, it occurred to me that the other shell could just become a small ship that crashed after escaping destruction in the mother ship. I added a palm tree to the left to gain persepective and even the composition.
Some final touches here and there and a filter to provide the effect you saw in the first picture.
