Day #19: What Part of Your Body Are You Most Grateful for?
I am thankful for all of me, not just for one or any part of my body. However, for the sake of this challenge, let me pick one body part I am truly thankful for.
I had perfectly good eyesight, and I'm thankful for that blessing. Because of that, I grew up enjoying reading books. However, all that changed over the years, esp. when I turned 40. I then realized I needed reading glasses. So, I visited the optometrist to be tested and got my first ever eyeglasses. A part of me didn't like it at first. It wasn't easy trying to adjust to the new condition. I had to get used to needing my eyeglasses whenever I needed to read stuff or work on my computer, esp. at night. Yeah, it's tough, but it's part of getting old. LOL _
I look on the bright side of life. At least, I could still see. I do love taking photos, so at least I could still enjoy that. I've done less reading, though, as it's somehow not the same reading with eyeglasses. It also gets tiring. I still do some light reading once in while.
At the end of the day, I'm just thankful.
