Cafe Mary Grace

Our neighborhood mall isn't that huge, but it has quite a number of restaurants and cafes that we could enjoy. We do not always eat out, but when we do, it would be at places that we truly like.

We have witnessed the growth of Mary Grace Cafe from its early days at the mall. It all started from a small kiosk in the middle of a wide open space and later on grew into this huge corner cafe spot.

We like Cafe Mary Grace because it's a local brand. Plus, there's a wide range of selection on the menu. My daughter and I like soup, salad, and/or pasta. The cafe has quite a few delicious ones to offer. Seen here: Smoked Salmon & Cream Pasta with a side order of Cream of Mushroom Soup

Personally, I like their perfect plates -- a combination of salad, pasta, and dessert. My choice was the Fresh Tomato & Herb Plate: Grilled chicken & orange salad with black olive dressing, tomato & herb pasta...

...and dessert of the day! That time, they had lemon bars for dessert. In the past they offered different slices of cakes. I suppose the lemon bars are new items on the menu.

Tan Tea

After dinner, my daughter and I were in the mood for a leisurely walk. It's a good way to burn some calories. LOL! We happened to pass along a newly opened tea shop -- Tan Tea.

Since it was a Friday night, and the night was young, we decided to stop by and have a night cap.

Look at those lovely samples on the counter! They kinda made it hard for us to choose which ones to order.

While waiting for our drinks, I decided to take a few snapshots of the dining area. It's a small space, but it gives off a comfortable feel. It does look so neat and organized.

Yey, we got a corner seat. It was perfect.

Finally, our orders arrived. We decided to go for something light. Fruit sodas. Mine was Thai Mint Soda. My daughter's Grapefruit Soda. Such yummy treats indeed! Afterwards, we walked the rest of the way home.
