We all have had to make many adjustments since COVID-19 came along. With every month that passes it seems there is a new realization about something we have to give up.
Here in Minnesota it was the annual Minnesota State Fair, which draws around 2 million people! It is an amazing event, with rides and attractions and art and barns full of show animals and rodeos and SO MUCH FOOD. But it was canceled this year.
However, they came up with an amazing idea to take parts of the fair around to people across the state. Imagine my surprise when I came across this site in my grocery store parking lot. It just tickled me pink!
It was a sight for sore eyes! It looked so bright and festive, and the aromas of corn dogs and mini donuts took my right back to my trips to the fair, and special time with my kids, going on rides and getting them their favorite treats.
Of course I went home to tell my husband, and we went back to buy a bag of fresh hot mini donuts, coated in cinnamon sugar. There is nothing better!
