My bike ride yesterday to a small town out west of where I live yielded many treasures for future blog posts, including two adorable gazebos - both from the same tiny town, just blocks apart.
The first one was more of a classic gazebo shape, and appears to be quite old. It clearly needs a coat of paint. It overlooks a tiny play park, and I'm sure it has hosted many a weary parent.
The second one is square, much more modern, and it overlooks the tennis courts.
The next pictures are of a Little Free Library. I'm a huge fan of these little things, and I take a picture of them when I come upon them. No two are alike, as far as I can tell. This one is a bit weather worn and seems to have been installed there outside the little town's city hall for quite some time.
I couldn't resist opening it to see what sort of books are on offer at the moment.
Next up is the little town's fire station. Totally adorable.
A few more - a bench and a fire hydrant.
That's it for Monochrome Monday. Thanks to for hosting the tag!
