The light of the sun is growing in the skies.
It helps to banish the
Sleep from our eyes.
If only our time would grow longer as the
Day grows too, but alas our
Lives grow shorter with each day
That is new.
We are such finite creatures, here on this Earth,
We must make the best of this life;
be sure it is filled with
Worth.
The good we do, the sharing and
Caring is a noble cause, so be
Noble in your life, though we all have
Flaws.
No one is perfect, though that is a noble goal.
Even though a diamond is brilliant,
It started out as
Coal.
With each step, with each trial we face, we
Must learn the lesson of life’s
Race.
So that one day we too,
Will life’s pains
Outpace.
Do your best each day,
Carry on with the task; it’s all that is needed;
All you can be
Asked.
Bring light into the
World as you go today,
Let it
Shine along your way.

I so wish that I could embody all the peace and inspirations that I
Write about. I do try, the longer I live, the more I succeed. It
Helps to keep practicing. You have to walk the walk. There
Will always be times when you don’t succeed, but
Those when you do, are practice, and practice
Makes perfect. So they say. I know from
Being a musician; it does take practice
And lots of it. Whatever “it” is.
Practice peace. Rehearse
loving care. Perform it
On the stage of your
Life every day.
Let the sweat of
Your brow water the
Flowers in your heart like
The dew in the morning. Sometimes
You will feel that there’s a conspiracy working
Against you. Don’t you let that stop you. Love your
Neighbor, love yourself, love the good in the world, Love
The light that shines in your heart and let it shine out to all the
World. It will illuminate the darkness with the pure Light of love.
