Winter is a difficult time for me, despite the fact that
All the beauty of nature remains, just in different
Forms.
I always seem to get a terribly blue mood to
Come over me.
It normally doesn’t begin to abate
Until the days grow noticeably longer and warmer.

I know I am not the only one to suffer from this
Condition.
So now, I am happy that I think I am
Digging my way out of the ‘winter of my heart’.

This year has been particularly bad, and even
Though I know it is just me,
My perceptions and in some respects,
My indulgence in self
Pity.

These taken together contribute to
“Circular Thinking”, which when you’re
Caught up in it, can be devastating.
I am digging my way out of the snow
Cave in my heart, seeking warmth
And light and love once more.
I hope that my words will help
You all, to let your dormant
Spirit emerge, to
Radiate Your Special Love Once More.
