So I went back today and spent about 2 hrs doing a little more cleaning.
For some reason I thought I remembered that there were some black keys missing
The black part, which I'd found inside the piano, so I bought another hot glue gun.
However when I got there today, all the black keys had their tops, many were the wrong size, but still.
I took a leaf blower to try and help get crap out from under the strings, and I TRIED to gain access to the area underneath the keys, to try and blow that out too, but alas I was not able to do that.
So I finally set about tuning. One fellow came up while I was at it, and asked about the repairs, and I should give them an estimate for how much I would charge to fix the whole thing.
I explained that much of what needs done I don't know how to do, and I'm doing this for free.
I gave him my card, but I really don't expect to hear from him.
So you won't be forced to listen to me tuning, but if you remember the previous video from last fall, I played the same tune for comparison
(No Crotch shot in the new video 🤣)
Return to Smyrna
The tuning begins
