↑↑Arbor Terrace of Decatur Ga, and Assisted Living facility↑↑
I am an entertainer, I play (generally) for Retirement/Assisted Living/Memory Care and Nursing Home Venues.
This is almost the only Bright Spot in my otherwise boring and dismal existence. I get a sense of fulfillment
And the Audience gets enjoyment as well.
I know this because of their reactions.
One of these residents' daughter (who is almost always there with her Mother) came up to me as I was packing to leave, and said "I really love you and so does my Mom. Other people come here to play, and they
May be great on the keyboard or guitar, but in general they just sit there and play, whereas YOU, get up and walk around, cut up, joke and get them TO ENGAGE with you.
This is very special and we appreciate you for it."
That made my day.
