Feel Good Community Alphabet Hunt
Mongoose Memories one never forgets, stopping for lunch on the roadside being invaded by the Banded Mongoose of Africa enjoying the same space. Little did we realize these had become familiar with humans at lunchtime, keeping an eye on them we ate, then moved on quicker than we may have anticipated, a memorable occasion.
Mongooses settled down to relax sunbathing midday after food was stored away we could enjoy a little of their company. We do have Mongoose in our area, development has sadly made visits less frequent.
Yes the Mongoose is the one that kills snake, brave endearing little fellows in the bush. No matter how cute they look they are wild and do carry some nasty diseases, very much a case of enjoy their company keeping safe distance, I have never heard of Mongoose attacking humans.
Short Stories for children under lock down:
"Rikki-Tikki-Tavi" is a short story in the 1894 anthology The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling about adventures of a valiant young Indian grey mongoose. It has often been anthologised, and has been published several times as a short book" - Wikiwand
Monkey Everytime I look outdoors monkeys are doing their tricks, it's magical watching them when teaching the little ones how to survive, I have written about the Vervet monkeys we have in our region. Further up the coast we have Samango monkeys that are found in the iSimangaliso wetlands park region.
Two Monkeys of South Africa is where I mentioned the difference between the two, this time some photographs not used previously on Samango Monkeys, together with a few fresh photos of monkeys around the home making odd manoeuvres.
The monkeys are light footed running through trees, finding fruits, berries, roots along with bird eggs and whatever else they find.
Masked Masked Weaver Birds South Africa another piece of content previously shared, however new photographs. Melodious singing pours into the home from sunrise to sunset with bird life, many of which have masked faces, more regular visitors around the home in Mother Nature.
Mirror Matrix in society, a place in which something develops in the cultural, social or political environment, also in mathematics an arrangement of numbers, symbols or letters in rows and columns, used for problem solving. Somehow, Somewhere, Sometime.
Bringing magic to art expressing moments in time in environment, Sarah Pryke the artist mirroring effects of life in the wilderness, capturing cultural inheritance in magnificent memories using mirror matrix.
Mist Misty mountains, marvelous mist rising enough to mesmerize ones mind of meditating tranquil thoughts floating about in slow motion, mindful of all who masquerade as a moonshadow, optimistic of a better tomorrow missing yesterday, hopeful of a silver lining. Previous post photographs were used in Captured Between Clouds
Mist of Time does not alter what has been or what is to come, motivated to keep moving in forward direction, never marooned in one place forever.
Macadmia Nuts My adventure Going Nowhere Slowly Oribi Gorge where they farm the macadamia nuts, some photographs to remind one what they look like and a most enjoyable memory a couple of years ago.
When farmers start to meet then mingle ideas, sugar cane land switched to massive tracts of land under Macadamia trees, motivation for farming along the coast where farmers moved crops making South Africa the biggest producer of these delicious, nutritious nuts.
This brings me to the end of the "M" alphabet hunt always having some fun!
All photography is my own, any queries or requests please drop a comment below, have a wonderful day!
