Another morning of having trouble concentrating and starting work, browsing random things online. However, I remembered to check the daily Blinkist freebie and it's nice: https://www.blinkist.com/en/nc/daily/reader/own-your-everyday-en
Blinkist does 15min summaries of lots off non fiction books and they provide 1 free per day.
My two main takeaways from the read are:
- For 30day make a commitment to stop criticising yourself. If you wouldn't say something to your friend, don't say it about yourself.
- Consider the cnsequence of your choices in 10min, 10 weeks, 10 years.
I've been reading a CBT book very slowly, but this seems like something I can try instantly and will do my best to stick to it :)
I sprouted a mango from a seed :) One of the plants in photo above is avocado. Plants are great reminders of slow consistent growth and paying attention to the plants needs.
I'm off to get some exercise and work done _
