I have fallen in love with audiobooks. Actually, that happened quite a while ago and I have been a frequent user of Librivox.
But since I found Chirp, I most certainly have up-leveled my game. Of course, it helps that the past year has been a year of much solitude.
Chirp is a platform that offers audiobooks for sale for a great discount. I started by only buying books priced at 99c and discovered many new authors.
I do spend a bit more on books like Paula by Isabel Allende. But still so much less than buying them for full price.
I have listened to some books I still don't know if I like them or not - but I am thinking about them. That, I think is something authors want to achieve.
