It’s Easter Sunday and it’s different than any other Easter with everyone in self-isolation except for the wildlife running around the yard.
The rabbit is always a happy symbol for Easter.
Here is Bunny Rabbit looking into the branches of the spruce tree. I think he is hiding Easter eggs for children to find later today.
Bunny Rabbit takes off in full flight after delivering the Easter eggs. He has many more stops to make this morning.
Rabbits And Easter
Besides the resurrection of Jesus, the rabbit has been a symbol of Easter since the 1500s. It may be because of their high rate of reproduction that symbolizes the new birth of nature in the springtime. The name Easter is thought to be derived from the festival of Eostre, the goddess of fertility.
Mr. Robin Redbreast wants to get in on the action and wish everyone a Happy Easter.
