Diwali is one of the most loved festival in India, Wish you all a very happy Diwali.
If you ask kids then this is the most loved festival by them, after Holi. Corona Virus Pandemic has literally spoiled the festival this time, but we still enjoyed a lot. My 9 year old daughter made this rangolli this year first time. She faced lot of hurdles but we kept on encouraging her, and this came up after almost 2 hours. And she was very happy to make this.
And a delicious vegan lunch was made, as we take only vegan food this entire month. Kids were disappointed as this year the government banned sale / bursting of crackers. And to my surprise, they found out the remaining crackers of last year. And they were in full swing - taking them to the roof top and putting for some sun light. I was remembering my childhood by seeing all this. Kids are so excited doing this that, they literally forget everything else. They were just waiting for the evening.
Our apartment was decorated with diyas and lights which had set up the perfect festive mode. And when we went down, we found out many kids coming with their old crackers 😀. They were unstoppable. Though the kids enjoy these crackers, as a parent, we have to be very watchful, because they can hurt each other unknowingly. I always make sure, I watch the kids, while they are playing with the sparklers. It literally took more than a hour and half to finish what we had. And kids were very happy with this limited edition as well. Me and my wife enjoyed a lot as well.
