8:17am and the gang's all here. It's Christmas Day but in tourism ( even if there hardly is any ) there are no holidays, you're always open. We only have a few divers in the afternoon so aside from 2 staff I'm giving them the day off. Tomorrow it looks like we are a little busy. Well i say busy we have more than usual for these times. All the regulars doing an after crimbo dive. Should be a nice day.
I don't really do Christmas I've never got my head around the general nonsense of it all and add the that crass commercialism and the like i tend to duck out of it. i get accused by the Christmas Zombies of being a miserable grinch but the truth is I actually enjoy myself immensely over those day. I just don't do any Christmas crap. I may take to doing a Winter Solstice thing instead just to point out the obviousness of the hijacking of that celebration. Anyway i digress.
For whatever reasons you are celebrating at this time of year I sincerely hope you ordered nothing through Amazon and shopped locally to help out the local community and I hope you are all well and healthy and will stay that way so we can grab 2021 by the balls!
