Good Morning to the #Hive !
fresh off the back of a productive day yesterday I'm going to launch myself into today in much the same spirit. We managed , as a team, yesterday to both clean up a substantial amount of trash from the beach and also make some headway on our demolition of structures located in the 3m coastal easement zone.
The weather has also taken a rather pleasant turn for the better. Will they allow us to dive on the 16th I wonder. Please please please let us dive.
Today much of the same. The trash will continue to come in now that the winds have changed and we must crack on with taking down and ripping up the permanent structures located in the easement zone.
It does feel good to be making some progress and the crew , i can see, get a buzz out of having purpose and getting things accomplished. It's been a long quarantine time, over 11 weeks now so it's nice to have something to do. I also realise that if we don't take advantage of this time with no tourism activity permitted we may regret it as working around it with paying guests will be a disaster. My neighbours either side seem to be doing nothing about the demolition and i feel thay may regret that in the months to come as a large number of operations here have made a lot of progress with demolition and it will be glaringly obvious which businesses have not lifted a finger to comply.
Ok, more rocke fuel then down to the dive shop. Thanks for stopping by to read the ramble. Stay safe people
Ciao!
