A very good morning to all of you lovely Hivers out there! Welcome to this mornings edition of the.....
7:44am and it's dark, gloomy and rainy. I thought I'd timed the ride into work pretty well but got caught by rain in the last minutes and it came down really hard. It's amazing how wet you can get in such a short time. My shorts are soaking but I carry spares on days like these. It pays to plan ahead. So at least I don't have ro spend all day sat in damp shorts and underwear. That really would be awful. Nothing worse than being sat in damp clothing all day...yuck.
My boat captain has just returned from the coastguard office, where we submit our passenger manifest, and we have been told that no boat activities are allowed due to them calling a 'Signal 1' due to a low pressure area moving into the area. So we can only shore dive in front of the dive centre. I figure everyone will do just the one dive and then hot coffee and get dry. We shall see. I really don't see anyone doing 2 dives today though.
As for me I will be hiding behind my trusty roll down canvas and trying to stay dry in my makeshift office at the corner of the bar. I have my coffee and spicey noodles for later so all is not lost.
Would be interested to see where you all are having tea and coffee in the morning. If you've read this pop a photo in the messages of where your at with your beverage of choice. Would be interesting to see where everyone is
Stay safe out there people, wherever you may be on this planet of ours
