Hope everybody is well. Friends, today through my blog, I will share with you some of the yarn and jute rich things held at the handicraft and cottage industry fair. I hope you like it. Friends, handicraft and cottage industry fairs have been held in our town. By hand and cottage industry we mean the things that are made at home with the help of handicrafts. Due to the lack of advanced technology in ancient times, people were able to meet their daily needs through these industries. But now with the advent of advanced technology, these industries have become almost extinct.
In the past, both men and women were associated with these industries. But now men have the opportunity to work in different workplaces. Also people are now living a comfortable and easy life with the touch of advanced technology. But in the case of rural poor women becoming self-reliant and in alleviating poverty, the handloom industry still survives. There can be many daily necessities in this handicraft and cottage industry. Various interesting and entertaining things are made with jute.
Sari and mats are also made on loom machines. Yarn and cotton are used to make various items for home decoration. Sewing machines are also being used to give a beautiful texture to the fabric. Soaps and gift items are also being made with the help of hands. And many poor women are involved in these works. Basically these items have been raised in the fair to increase the enthusiasm of women's work. I also went to this fair today. This fair also seemed important to me.
And women are making a significant contribution to the survival of the industry. And the BRDB program is playing an effective role in moving this project forward. The BRDB program has worked so that women can assert their position and move forward on an equal footing with men in eliminating unemployment by paving the way for their self-reliance in the society. This fair has been organized. I think this fair can play an effective role in making every girl in the society interested in handicrafts.And through this industry, poor women will be able to take the opportunity to become self-reliant. These handicrafts have come up in the fair to make women aware and interested in work.
