Here's a first look at a fabulous new music video. I'm excited to share a story of a song that continues to touch my heart with wonderment.

A Story Behind A Song
"Home" is the #2 single released by our band, Cosmic Butterflies [And A Bear]. I am credited as the songwriter, although this song truly is a gift of divine orchestration. Above is an interesting story and an intimate look into the song, along with a sneak peek of a visionary music video on the horizon.
Our studio recording features and I as a duet, along with our eight bandmates accompanying us on cello, harp, flute, piano, bass, and drums. What began as a simple song turned into a gorgeously intricate sound bath, like diving into a musical ocean and then air-drying at the speed of light.
In one interpretation, it's a love song. In another interpretation, it's a journey into the afterlife. Home is a quest. Home is a word that has been a compass for Cabe and I—individually and also as a couple. It is compass that helps us to navigate where we feel at home in ourselves, and at home in the world.
Through sharing this song and others, we found our home with a band, and with an audience, and with people who sing along with us. Home is a sense of knowing that we are love—deep down—we originate in love. The song ends: "Into your arms I'm going home," as if being embraced by the Divine Holy Mother.
The music video invites viewers on a surreal adventure into the unknowns beyond this life. Personally, I find a fascination in the conversations of death—more specifically life after life. Not that I'm in any hurry to get there; just that I am mystified by whatever awaits on the other side.
You can hear the song in its entirety on YouTube, if you're interested. I invite you to give it a listen and let me know how the song speaks to you. If you like it, we're offering it for streaming and digital download via Spotify, Apple Music, Google Play, and elsewhere.

A Stripped-Down Version for the Open Mic
Some of you might actually remember this song from the Steemit Open Mic. We shared it there two years ago: Steemit Open Mic Week 94: Home (Original Song)a. It was my first ever entry in the #openmic event. It waas such a joy recording it then, with the man I walk with, singing beside me. It's an infinitely greater joy now.
With heart,
