Sometimes a person just needs to take a day off. The problem that a person usually runs into, however, is that taking a day off can be problematic due to however many reasons, often involving work. In this day and age of Zoom, Webex, and Google Meet conferences there are people that actually expect to see you, and talk face-to-face, so to speak.
Problem, solved. They'll never know it's not me.
