Today is #sepiasaturday! Thanks .
Today is also Day six of my Seven Days of Crappy Camera Photos challenge to myself. I felt it was appropriate to merge the two. My old digital cameras (the "crappy cameras" in question) really lend themselves well to sepia and black and white.
Since I was going to go old-school with these photos for a good sepia picture, I felt that what I really would like to do is find some items in the house that would fit the theme. Luckily for me, I'm not short on things to photograph in the house.
This first item is a Boyd's Bear. These are awesome stuff bears. This particular one I purchased for my daughter on my first ever business trip, which happened to be to Boston (fyi, I love Boston, or Bawston, however you which to pronounce it). This bear means quite a bit to me. Apparently it means more to me than to my daughter, since I still have it, and she does not.
Next up is an old puppet of an owl. I love puppets. I have a trunk full of puppets which I cannot bring myself to get rid of. The boys claim to be too old for them now, to the point I even got rid of the puppet theatre I had made them (it brought a tear to my eye).
I kinda like this one. An orca puppet, and I really like how the image turned out.
And here are the three together, hanging out old-school. On top of the piano.
This piano. This old piano. This old, out of tune, stand up piano with a few missing parts. I love this piano. It's awesome, and fantastic for such types of photoshoots.
