On Saturday I decided to do a quick afternoon entrance hall mini makeover. All it took was repurposing an old mirror back to its more natural roots to add warmth and dimension to the space with a TV cabinet from another room to add storage and spot to drop the things that always end up on the dining table.
I sprayed the badly painted wicker frame back to a natural beige in about 10 minutes.
Moving from a larger home to a cottage with less storage has meant finding ways to hide the things we need that don’t always look pretty and these items have done the trick. The small TV cabinet was a marketplace find for only R300 in South Africa and the mirror was left behind by previous tenants that no longer wanted it. #winforus
Here’s the before!
The front door was painted last summer to freshen it up. And the floors were tiled about a year ago (they were painted concrete before)
And one more after.
I love with our cute space that now welcomes everyone that walks through our front door.
