I know some of you who have been following this contest week after week are eager to see this week's contest and to participate in it. Unfortunately, it is a BIG week for the Hive Blockchain as the witnesses are going to upgrade this Blockchain to version 1.24.2 also known as eclipse. The contest will resume next week and if everything is back to working and smooth.
For those who do not know that this Blockchain can be upgraded, yes.... It is also called a hardfork where 17 out of 20 consensus witnesses can implement the new code version of Hive, most of the time an improvement of the older version of Hive with some new code. Constant improvements on the blockchain is vital for scalability and future proofing the Blockchain so it can meet with the times. I'm excited for it but at the same time, I have mix feelings. For being 3 years on this Blockchain, I have seen many of the top witnesses not doing their part as the top 20 but I won't name them and I don't need to. There is a saying that goes 'siapa makan cili, dia rasa pedas' which means those who have eaten the chilli, will feel its spiciness.
The only thing that kept me going on hive Blockchain is basically my home community, #powerhousecreatives who houses many creators from all around the world. These are genuine and authentic people who produces just quality content be it video, blogs, travel, photography, animation and many others on this Blockchain. Without this community, I'm pretty sure hive would be pretty lacking of good quality content. Not to mention that we've just hit our 3 years anniversary on this Blockchain!!
