Farming is what I have seen our elders protect because they saw it as the only means to provide food for the family and the nation. People say a lot of things concerning farmers as many look farmers as a nobody but the question I usually ask is if they're no farmers to farm and produce the food we eat where are we to be from now that's if hunger may have not killed everyone. From the first day I went into farming, I have seen the integrity in agriculture because the food we eat, the water we drink, and even the medicine we drink to get well are all the contribution of Agriculture.
In the olding days, our forefathers saw that the only way to survive is to be serious with farming and when they saw that farming is so stressful they try to provide local solutions for it. During those days of farming they saw how our mother struggled to cut and weed grasses from the farm using unsharp cutlass. Our forefathers believe that when one is farming using a hard labor way at least the person need a sharp farm tools.
It's believed that most farmers usually rush to the farm without remembering to sharpen our farm tools and by the time we got the farm to use those farm tools, it'll delay our farm work and most times using unsharpened farm tools usually give us a bad injury in our palms. Our fathers saw this things and were meet the way ahead through the provisions of stone believing to be natural without any money to be servicing it.
It's believed that most of the things we do in order to farm, we need a cutlass and a sharp weeding hoe to farm it. This made it clear why our fathers build a farm shelter and put a big stone inside of it.
