To plant orange, it's very important to have the orange seed and also have a good farmland for planting.
I make sure I look for good orange species that'll not keep growing tall without bearing much fruit. The one which the tree will be small and bears many fruit is the kind of orange seed I usually go for.
When I have an orange fruit, I'll make sure I leak it to remove the seed from it. I'll then make sure I keep the orange seeds under the sun for days. This will make the orange seed to dry well. The drying of the orange seed will help it to germinate very fast.
I'll now take the orange seed to the secured land, after I must have cleared the grasses. I'll use a cutlass, open the soil, pour about 3 to 4 orange seeds, cover the soil back.
I'll keep pouring water morning and evening to keep the orange seed germination.

Anytime is okay for you to go into planting of orange but there are things that must be considered.
If you're to plant your orange during raining season you'll need to be clearing weeds that'll be growing around. You'll also need to dry the orange seed properly before planting so that immediately you plant and rain touches it, it'll start to germinate without much delay.
If you're to plant in dry or harmmattan season you must make sure to water the place morning and evening and I don't think they'll be any need drying the orange seed before planting because there's no more water in the soil. You'll also make sure you clear the weeds close to the newly planted orange to avoid bush burning.
