Hello I wish to say a big thanks to all homesteader because for a long time I have not make a post today I feel it's important to talk about signs of dry season truth is that I never had the idea to write now but when I woke up this morning and opened my door the sun was already ser. It was not just about the sun set it's all about the time in the morning and other happening attached. Early as 7:30 am the sun was already activated as if I was already in hell I quickly realized it was the sun 🌞 which is a sign dry season is just near.
The first sign to know we're close to dry season is the raining days omission this that the rain will gradually be reducing from the number of days it used to rain on like May, June, July, and August period it almost rain every day. When rain start reducing or not raining heavily as usual or even raining and at the same time sunny ☀️ it's usually an indication that dry season is at the corner so farmers usually take note of all this signs and start making preparation on how to harvest crops not fit to withstand dry season.
Another sign to know dry season is close is constant heavy sun. This means that the sun and the rain will now be competing on the one to quite. We already know the rain will surely give it way because life has season so when the sun constantly heavily shines making our building zinc to be hurt and even making noise but the measure sign is that the sun will begin to shine very early in the morning and when it shines it's usually heavy to the extent of affecting human movement walking with legs, making people to demand for steady water drinking and watering of crops. This are usually a sign dry season is close giving farmers to room to make plans.
My measure concern is that planted crops usually reduces growth due to the reduction of water benefits from rainy season. This is usually not good for vegetables like cucumber, watermelon, carrot, pumpkin leaf, and many other crops like yam, cocoa yam, beans, groundnut, mellon, and others. This is usually the best time for farmers to start making plans on how to be watering their farms so to enable their crops maintain growth when dry season comes.
Planted crops usually changes colors. Almost all the crops usually changes colors even those that usually survive the dry season must show a sign to know we have entered dry season and to show how important they need water from rain. When crops start showing yellow or brown color it shows lack of water which will usually lead to death that's why it's important as a farmer we understand such signs and make plans to harvest some crop produce.
