Whenever a farmer finished planting maize, it's expected for the maize 🌽 to germinate within a short period of time. Maize is among the fastest crop that germinate after it was planted. The only thing that'll make maize planted not to grow within it's period of expectation could be rain, animals, damaged maize, etc.
Today marks the 4th day I planted maize 🌽, and the maize are not doing well as predicted. In actual sense, maize is expected to start growing after planting was done after three days. Within the three days, the maize seed planter must, have received the nutrients from the soil to grow.
I was in my farm this morning to see how far with the maize 🌽 I planted a few days ago, I discovered that the maize are not growing the way it was supposed to be. The number of maize that's supposed to germinate is not what I saw. I only saw about five to six place of maize growing why at least one and half of the farm is supposed to germinate.
The reason why maize planted may not germinate when it's supposed to is because of lack of rain, unwanted waste, animal, etc.
After a maize was planted, and there was no rainfall within that period, the maize planted may not germinate within the three days it's supposed to germinate. Even if the the maize want to germinate, it'll be only a few that will germinate. A maize may still germinate within the three days without raining if only the land/soil where the maize was planted has water.
Another thing that may affect after the three days maize germination is unwanted waste. If a farmer finished planting maize and waste was not properly removed from the space where the maize 🌽 was planted, the maize may likely not grow within the three days germination expectations. The sense is that the waste may block the maize space from germinating. A farmer should watch carefully to remove waste from farm before planting maize to avoid low germination result.
Animals like birds, fowl, monkey 🐒, may affect the three days growth of maize germination. If a farmer finished planting maize and some of the animals mentioned are nearby, they may remove and eat the maize from the soil.
Thank you very much ,
