AssalamuAlaikum & Greetings Hive Family!
It's me
The beauty of village life is that even small moments of nature become a source of great joy here. A few days ago, our house chicken hatched cute chicks from its eggs. When we heard the soft clucking sounds near the box in the morning, we realized that nature had sent a new joy to our house. Seeing this scene, our heart felt a strange joy because seeing little chicks for the first time is truly a beautiful experience.
When all the chicks came out of the eggs, the first thing we took care of was cleaning the box. The egg shells were carefully separated so that the environment around the chicks was clean. Cleanliness is not only important for the chicks, but it also reduces the chances of diseases. In rural areas, cleanliness is always considered very important in the care of chickens and chicks because the little chicks are very delicate.
After this, the hen and her chicks were gently transferred to their special cage/ coop. This place was already made safe and comfortable so that the chicks do not suffer any pain. The hen also lives with her children with great care. She takes them under her wings all the time and immediately becomes alert in case of any danger. Seeing this natural love of a mother, one is both surprised and happy about the system of nature.
Food management is also necessary for the good development of the chicks. That is why we put fine grains in front of them so that they can eat easily. The little chicks eat a little grain at first and gradually increase the amount of food. Along with this, clean water was also kept in a small vessel so that when they feel thirsty, they can easily drink water. Clean water and proper food are very important for the healthy growth of chicks.
Meanwhile, the children also bought some new chicks from the village market. These chicks were of different colors, including red, yellow, green and blue chicks. When these colorful chicks were placed with the rest of the chicks, the environment of the coop started to look even more beautiful. The little chicks were running around and pecking, presenting a charming scene.
All this was very interesting for the children. They would go to the coop again and again and watch the chicks and enjoy their movements. Sometimes a chick would go to the water bowl, sometimes a chick would start chewing grains and sometimes they would all hide together under their mother’s wings. These small scenes really show the beauty of village life.
Raising chickens in villages is not just a hobby but also a useful activity. This not only provides fresh eggs at home, but also gives children the opportunity to learn how to take care of animals. When children take care of chicks, they also develop a sense of responsibility and love for nature increases.
We are taking care of these little chicks with utmost care so that they can grow up healthy and strong. They have been provided with a clean environment, proper food and fresh water, because these are the most important things for their good development. We try to give them such care from the very beginning that they are protected from diseases and can be well-nourished. Hopefully, in the coming days, these little chicks will grow up to be healthy chickens and roosters.
Such simple but beautiful moments of village life give a person happiness and peace. When chicks roam around with their mother or nibble on grains, it is a sight that makes the heart happy. Whether it is the hen's own chicks or the colorful little guests bought by the children, all this together makes the environment of our home more pleasant and full of life.
