Merry Christmas to all homesteaders in advance. In case you don’t know, Christmas is just next week and I believe you and your family will be celebrating it well. Since Christmas is around the corner, I used the opportunity to check the banana plantation left for me by my Grandma.
The truth is that the banana was not originally planted by me. But my late Grandma left it to my care as the only one who mostly loves farming in the family. Before my Grandma passed away, she told me that she will love me to be taking care of the banana plantation. But one thing she told me clearly was not to sell the banana fruits to anyone but I should always make sure that everyone in the family feed from it.
Based on the promises given to me by my Grandma about the banana farm I’m currently handling. I tried my possible best to visit the banana farm recently because Christmas is already around the corner. I believe that most of my family members will be returning home for Christmas. This is the main reason I visited the banana farm to make sure it’s properly under control so that by the time my family member will return home for Christmas, they will know that the banana farm is doing well with me since Grandma passed away.
When I visited the banana farm, I noticed that they were a lot of young bananas around every corner of the banana farm. The number of banana trees on the farm has increased by a number, unlike the last time I visited the farm. I was so excited to see the banana farmland doing well. I also noticed that the few plantains that my late Grandma added to the banana farm are actually doing well together with the banana farm.
Honestly, I thought that goat would have finished eating up the banana farm. But to my greatest surprise even in this harmattan season down here, the banana farm is still fine and goats didn’t even touch the young banana trees.
Before I left the banana farm, I didn’t see any of the banana trees produce any fruits yet. But I believe that soon, it’ll start to produce fruits.
