Yesterday morning was for sure Spring weather as now we are slotted for mid 60s F and potential rains. The clouds looked nifty on my way to town.
My morning session went really well and am slowly making progress in the neuroplasticity arena as the rewiring is gradually and slowly taking place. I can't seem to stop thinking of the Futurama episode where Fry ate a truck stop sandwich and got super worms that fixed his brain and were rewiring the neurons. At least it gives me a bit of levity as I go through the process.
FUCKING INSANE GAS PRICES! WA STATE IS A TRUE SHIT HOLE NOW! NEARLY WORSE THAN CALIFORNIA IN EVERY WAY!
When home I texted about the road bike I want to see and will be going to check it out tonight. I REALLY hope to get it. This is the bike. A Giant OCR C3.
I then got on the trainer for a while and got a good bit of reading done while pedaling.
8 miles in 40 minutes and my knee was not too torched after. The knee brace helped the rest of the day.
The printer was going most of the day. Surprising that the bolts and nuts work as well as they do. The PLA doesn't require wax to smooth out the threading like the PetG does. PLA nut on PetG bolt works fine but the Pet on Pet is a problem.
Setup a startup with my longtime client for tomorrow and might just get a first ride after on the road bike if I get it.
The afternoon/evening was busy. The boys got home at 3pm with E who hung out until we all left for town. They got to hang out while and I had our couples session then we took them to the skating rink for the school skate night. Then she and I went out to eat at Poole's which was not horribly busy for once.
We picked the boys up and were about last out of the rink. Once home the tray of links had finished. We were to bed by 9pm.
This morning I get the boys to school then will head to town mid morning for my new orthotics. I will get a ride in mid day outside since it is not raining, then will have dinner ready early as R has practice and I will be going to see the road bike and possibly come home with it while he is at practice.
