My window lady arrived at 8AM and we set to work on the bathroom window. It was the last one on the south side and it was to be hot today. Then we got the porch windows done and moved around to the north side of the house. We were done by 10:30. She is actually an "odd and heavy jobs" person and she had some time left. So I had her finish making the garden stakes the contractor had started.
I worked on the clean up, putting windows back together (grilles and screens) for most of the rest of the day. The bathroom one was the hardest, as all the trinkets and crystals had to be washed before putting them back.
My son then gave the bathroom a cleaning and it looks nice again, for a while... He also did some more weedwhacking up the driveway towards the barn.
Evening over the wildflowers and Little trees
Evening over the Little trees and front pasture
This is what I see each night when I pull the shades up when the sun has gone behind the trees.
In the East Shed garden the evening primroses have opened as they are now in shade.
The little catalpa behind the shed is in full bloom.
As is the #10 York elderberry in the Little tree row.
The New South garden in the evening light
In the New West garden this snapdragon survived the winter and is now in full bloom.
On Tuesday, if I get a relatively decent night, I need to get out in the Small garden early and clean out the weeds and fallen wood. It's to be hot and I hope to maybe start moving the mulch. No helpers coming on Tuesday.
