Nature has a beautiful way of rewarding patience. Today while walking around my homestead garden, I was excited to see different fruits developing nicely despite the changing weather conditions. Seeing healthy fruits on the trees always gives me motivation to continue caring for the farm.
The first fruits I checked were my young guavas. The trees are carrying many healthy green fruits, and this season looks promising. Guava trees are among my favorite fruit trees because they require moderate care and still produce generously when properly managed.
The second fruits are my passion fruits. Although some fruits are showing signs of disease spots and skin damage, the vines are still productive. This reminded me how important regular monitoring is in farming. Early disease detection helps farmers reduce losses before the problem spreads.
To manage this naturally, I usually:
Remove heavily infected fruits
Improve air circulation around the vines
Keep the area clean
Apply organic sprays when necessary
Finally, I discovered ripe mulberries hiding under the leaves. These small berries may look simple, but they are packed with nutrients and have a sweet taste that children especially enjoy. Mulberries attract birds and pollinators, making the garden feel even more alive.
Farming teaches patience, observation, and consistency. Every fruit tells a story of effort, care, and hope for a better harvest tomorrow.
