Good day everyone in the blessed homesteading community I hope you are all doing great and how has the week been like for you over there. Today i payed a visit to my farm garden beside my house to check on my cassava and cocoyam I planted.

Due to the high cost of food in the market I decided to opt into subsistence farming to provide food for my family and I and helps reduce the amount of money spent to buy other foods from the market. Every year I plant and harvest my produce from the farm. I can convert my cassava into granulated cassava known as Garri in the part where I stay and cassava flour etc to sustain my family.
The cassava and cocoyam was cultivated late April on my farm garden by me. It's just four months now that I have planted it. The weeds are growing along side the cassava plant and cocoyam due to my busy schedules. The last time I cleared the weeds was two months ago that's why the weeds hasn't grown about the cassava and cocoyam plant yet but in the next few days I will clear the weed so as to make the cassava and cocoyam produce very well.
This does not make me and my family to run out of foodstuff because at every production year I dig up my harvest and produce it into food
Do have a lovely day. Thanks for reading my post.
