I know you see me as a farmer who loves money 😜🤑, and that’s definitely the second major reason I embarked on farming after food.
I focus on using my own work to earn as much as I can, rather than depriving myself of my basic needs. After all, I don’t want to get my hands dirty unnecessarily.

My father always advised us that as long as farming provides food on the table and meets other needs, we shouldn’t be ashamed of getting our hands in the dirt.
In the next few months, I expect to see rewards in the form of food and cash, and the cash is definitely the most exciting part!

Cassava is one crop that brings in a substantial cash return. Its demand is high because it can be transformed into different products, one of which is cassava flakes, commonly known as garri. I’m not sure who originated this product or how it came about, but I have to say it is one of the best things that has happened in several parts of Nigeria.

Garri is often the reason some of us are still thriving 🤣, especially during times when money is tight. It's an affordable option, and all you need to enjoy it is some water or other simple accompaniments. Other simple accompaniments.
We put our hands to the plough, growing what we eat and what we will make a our income from after few months.
